Audit-Ready ESRS Workpapers

Available now

ESRS Pre-Assurance Suite

A complete set of ESRS workpapers, aligned to the revised ESRS adopted by the European Commission on 3 July 2026, built for your ESG audit. Every ESRS requirement is structured, evidenced, and cross-referenced to its source, and mapped both to the underlying ESRS standard and to the assurance standards your provider will work to — ISAE 3000 (Revised), ISAE 3410, and ISSA 5000, tracking the shift to ISSA 5000 as the overarching standard for sustainability assurance. For each requirement, the workpapers set out exactly what the assurance provider will look for, how they will test it, and what will satisfy them — so the evidence is ready before they ask for it. That readiness is what separates a smooth limited assurance process from a costly one, and your team builds it in-house.

Introductory launch price

€1,626 + VAT · one-time — versus €20k–€120k in consultant fees

  • Complete ESRS coverage — every requirement structured, evidenced, and cross-referenced to its source.
  • Aligned to the assurance standards — mapped to ESRS and to ISAE 3000 (Revised), ISAE 3410, and ISSA 5000, tracking the shift to ISSA 5000 as the overarching sustainability assurance standard.
  • The assurer's lens, recorded for every requirement — what they'll look for, how they'll test it, and what satisfies them.
  • From gap to fix, tracked — a findings and remediation tracker shows what's missing and exactly how to close it, with a full assurance register for your quantitative metrics.
  • An integrated AI assistant — the analysis and drafting you'd normally pay a Big-Four consultant for, optional and manual-friendly, with every output logged, traceable, and auditable; never a black box.
  • Runs where your team works — Excel and Google Sheets, built on Office Scripts and Apps Script, cloud-based with no new software to learn.

Audit-Ready ESRS Workpapers

ESRS Pre-Assurance Suite

Walkthrough video coming soon

€1,626 + VAT · one-time, permanent access

Thirteen workpapers built the way your assurance provider builds their own audit file — not a checklist template. For every CSRD/ESRS requirement, you get exactly what they'll look for, how they'll test it, and what satisfies them — so your team does the readiness work in-house, to that standard, and walks into limited assurance with no surprises.

Consultancies sell this exact readiness work — a gap analysis, a readiness assessment, an implementation roadmap — for €20,000 to €120,000. It's the same readiness work, structured so your team runs it in-house.

Introductory launch price

€1,626 + VAT · one-time · permanent access to both editions

Built on the revised ESRS as adopted by the European Commission on 3 July 2026. If the standards are refined further, every buyer gets the updated workpapers, free.

The thirteen workpapers

Each is its own file, with the same architecture throughout.

  • 01 · DMA Double Materiality Assessment
  • 02 · ESRS 2 General Disclosures
  • 03 · E1 Climate Change
  • 04 · E2 Pollution
  • 05 · E3 Water & Marine Resources
  • 06 · E4 Biodiversity & Ecosystems
  • 07 · E5 Resource Use & Circular Economy
  • 08 · S1 Own Workforce
  • 09 · S2 Workers in the Value Chain
  • 10 · S3 Affected Communities
  • 11 · S4 Consumers & End-users
  • 12 · G1 Business Conduct
  • 13 · MAR Metrics Assurance Register

Inside every requirement

This is where a template stops and a workpaper begins. Every disclosure requirement is set out as a structured, tabulated workflow — so your team reviews and confirms rather than starting from a blank page. Before you add anything of your own, each requirement already arrives with:

  • The verbatim disclosure requirement — the actual ESRS wording, not a paraphrase, with the matching Application Requirement (AR) set out alongside it.
  • Two paragraph-level references — the exact ESRS source (e.g. "ESRS E1 23(b); AR 12") and the matching assurance-standard paragraph (e.g. "ISSA 5000 117(b); A420"), cited against the requirement itself.
  • Why assurers test it — the rationale in plain English, so you understand the point of the requirement rather than just its text.
  • An assurance-effort rating — Low, Moderate or High, so you can see where the scrutiny lands.
  • The assurer's lens, written out — what they'll look for, the procedure that fits the requirement (inquiry and analytical procedures lead for limited assurance, with inspection, recalculation or observation where the effort rating warrants it) and what satisfies them, plus guidance on applicability.
  • Space for your own position — room to record your position and reference the supporting evidence behind it.

Scoped to your materiality

Each topical workpaper has a materiality filter. Carry the conclusions across from your double materiality assessment and mark each disclosure requirement material or not. The workpaper then scopes itself to what matters — non-material disclosures are locked and excluded from your readiness score — so you prepare exactly what your assurer will test, and nothing you won't.

Mapped to the assurance standards

Every requirement is tied both to the underlying ESRS standard and to the assurance standard your provider will actually work to — ISAE 3000 (Revised), ISAE 3410 (GHG) and ISSA 5000 — with the specific paragraph cited against each requirement. The suite tracks the shift to ISSA 5000 as the overarching standard for sustainability assurance.

Dashboard & findings tracker

The Readiness Dashboard weights your readiness across the material disclosures, flags critical gates and blockers, and shows live in-scope, excluded and not-applicable counts. The Findings & Remediation Tracker gathers every gap in one place — each with a severity, a recommended action and an owner — so you know exactly what to fix and in what order. Build it up yourself as you work, or let the optional AI consultant consolidate it for you in a single pass.

The optional AI consultant

The suite's standout capability — and the one we recommend every team switch on. It is off by default and runs on your own provider API key. Once enabled, it reviews each requirement and drafts a structured readiness assessment (Finding → Gap → Recommended action → Expected output → Resourcing) and a readiness conclusion (Ready / Minor gaps / Material gaps / Not in place), then consolidates the gaps into your Findings & Remediation Tracker for you. It works as a pre-assurance consultant, not your assurer — it does not write your disclosures, and you review and own every output, all of it logged, traceable and auditable, with a professional-scepticism and bias-evaluation lens applied to judgement-heavy assessments. Nine providers are supported, with Anthropic recommended as the most conservative and best-grounded.

Worked examples & both editions

Every workpaper ships with a fully completed, AI-assessed worked example — real-style preparer inputs, AI assessments and findings — in both an Anthropic and a Gemini version, so you can see a finished workpaper before you start. Identical content and logic in two editions, Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (each with optional one-click AI runs), with a single START HERE guide covering both.

Who it's for

Companies preparing for CSRD/ESRS limited assurance that want to do more of the readiness work in-house, keep control, and cut the cost of outsourcing it to a consultancy — from a single reporting entity to a large group.

What you're buying

One purchase — here's exactly what you receive:

  • All 13 workpapers — the full set: DMA, ESRS 2, E1–E5, S1–S4, G1, and the Metrics Assurance Register.
  • Both editions — Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) and Google Sheets, identical content and logic; work in whichever your team already uses.
  • The AI pre-assurance consultant script — on your own provider key (Office Script in Excel, Apps Script in Sheets); reviews each requirement, drafts findings, identifies gaps and risks, outlines remediation actions, and indicates the level of resourcing.
  • A fully worked example of every workpaper — real-style inputs with AI assessments and findings, in both an Anthropic and a Gemini version, so you can see a finished file before you start.
  • A START HERE guide — step-by-step setup for both editions, including switching on the AI.
  • Free updates — if the ESRS standards are revised further, you get the updated workpapers at no extra cost.
